Julia received her Bachelors of Science in Child and Adolescent Development from Cal State University, Fullerton. She also has taken some postgraduate courses in Kinesiology. She studied ballet, jazz, tap and pointe at Christine's Dance Studio. She performed many of the lead roles in several of the ballet productions at Christine’s such as Wendy in Peter Pan, the Scarecrow in Wizard of Oz and Princess Aurora in Sleeping Beauty. She was in advance dance at Villa Park High School for four years and was awarded the Senior Dance Medallion. She has had the opportunity to participate in several workshops with Dance Master’s of America. She has been teaching dance at Christine's Dance Studio/ Elite Dance Academy for over 20 years. Julia is the owner of Dance Grooves by Julia, which is a dance company that teaches at various schools in Orange.
