Lauren Elly

Lauren was born on Offutt Air Force Base near Omaha, Nebraska.  At the age of six, she and her family relocated to Orange County, CA.   It was there she first joined a local dance studio and began competing in both regional and national dance competitions.  Lauren became passionate about becoming a professional working dancer in Los Angeles and began training under some of the world’s most renowned choreographers.  In 2014, Lauren was casted in Debbie Allen’s hit musical, “Hot Chocolate Nutcracker” working alongside actresses Debbie Allen and Raven Symone.  At the age of fifteen, Lauren signed with The Movement Talent Agency in Los Angeles and shortly thereafter, was casted as a dancer and model for commercials with Nickelodeon and MTV.  Lauren continued her dance training with a strong emphasis on Hip Hop, Popping, Locking, and Jazz Funk.  Some of her professional credits include Mackenzie Ziegler, JoJo Siwa, Kat Graham, Bea Miller, Jason Derulo, Dytto, and Latin Boy Band CNCO.  Lauren has been a featured dancer in multiple online videos choreographed by some of the world’s most popular youtube stars such as Matt Steffanina.  Her stage performances include World of Dance, VidCon, We Day, Choreographer’s Carnival, and Rise of the Nation- written and produced by Grammy award winner, Anthony Thomas.   Lauren has also choreographed and taught classes for “DanceOn”- a company co-founded by Madonna specializing in global programming for dance entertainment and the largest digital community of influential dancers and choreographers.  One of the things Lauren loves most is sharing her passion and love of dance with  aspiring dancers from all walks of life.  Currently, Lauren teaches hip hop and jazz funk classes at professional industry dance studios in both Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
